4 Months

Wow! Kaitlyn is already 4 months old! Time sure has flown. She had her 4 month check-up yesterday. She weighed in at 13 lbs 8 oz (41th percentile) and 24 inches long (34th percentile). Dr. Maney said we can start rice cereal when ever we want. She is still breastfeeding really well and sleeping through the night. She really is a good baby! She is starting to travel via the roll. She loves to be sitting up and watching all the things going on around her, especially her big sister! And speaking of big sister, Natalie is pretty well potty-trained now. Using the pull-ups for nap and bed times. We visited her new pre-school today and she didn't want to leave, so I think she will enjoy going!

What are these ridiculous things on my extremities??

I love to eat my feet!

The exersaucer is so much fun!!

Uncle Rico

On Saturday Uncle Rico flew into Auburn Airport to have breakfast with us. Natalie loved the plane, especially watching it land and take off. We love to see him and are so proud of all his accomplishments. He is only a few steps away from his fixed winged license (he already flies helicopters, or hecktohopter as Natalie says, for Robinson down in Huntington Beach).

Pool Fun!!

Last Thursday we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Yuba City to swim with cousins Cole and Hailey. They all had a blast and we could hardly get them out of the pool!

Roar

Kaitlyn has become quite vocal these past few weeks, adding a "roar" to her sounds when she gets excited.

Blackberry Cobbler

Sunday afternoon we went out back and picked a bowlful of blackberries. The cobbler came out delicious!

Visit to Lodi

Last Friday we went to Lodi to visit Nana and Papa. Great Nana and Great Aunt Tina came by to visit. Natalie was in hog heaven playing dolls with her aunt.

This picture makes me realized what a big girl Natalie has become. She isn't a little baby anymore. Her vocabulary is amazing, we are constantly surprised at the things she remembers and how observant she has become. It is hard to believe that she is already 2 1/2 and becoming quite the little lady.

Bodega Bay

This past weekend we went camping at the Dunes in Bodega Bay. We had a great time even though the weather was less than desirable with not much sun and lots of fog. The kids didn't seem to mind and had a great time at the beach anyway.

SNAKE!!

Last night Hannah was barking her head off and when Kevin went out to see what all the commotion was about this is what he found! A 5 foot long Gophersnake slithering around our backyard.

La Porte Camping

This past weekend we went to LaPorte (Little Grass Valley Reservoir) to camp with the family. The kids had a great time together and were persistently covered in dirt from head to toe!
