Hidden Falls Park
We visited Hidden Falls Regional Park in Auburn while Rico and Lisa visited. We hiked this trail before, about 2 years ago, but the trail to the overlook was closed. This time the overlook was complete and we were able to see the very beautiful Hidden Falls! The girls hiked the entire 4 miles, only being carried for a little bit, thanks to Uncle Rico and Aunt Lisa. We saw lots of lizards, a snake, some beautiful flowers and 2 horses!
As cheap entertainment we headed over to a local reptile house. The girls got to pet a very large iguana and Rico tried to get us to buy a tortoise!
We went to the airport and checked out the helicopter that the Placer County Sheriff's Department uses. Kevin has worked a lot with the new chopper and Rico and Lisa fly one very similar. Ashley let Natalie wear his tactical vest!
