Already a week old....how time does fly when you are having fun. After a week of pretty much no sleep, the little guy is starting to cluster feed at night and giving me 2 to 3 hour blocks of sleep. So much nicer than getting up every 1/2 hour! Even after all that eating, he still only gained about 1.2 oz in 4 days, bringing his weight up to 8 lbs. 15 oz. He should be well over his birth weight come his 2 week appointment on the 1st. He is a very good baby, crying for the obvious things and is pretty content to sit on your lap and just look around, taking every thing in around him. The girls continue to shower him with attention and can't hold him enough.

Oliver had his first appointment with his pediatrician yesterday. He weighed in at 8 lbs 14 oz, what he was when we left the hospital on Saturday. We will return on Friday for a weight check, I imagine he will have gained some weight, as my milk is in and he is still eating like a champ. He won't have his circumcision until the 1st of November as well as his 2 week check up.

He's a keeper!!

Oliver's arrival

After what seems like an eternity, Oliver Anthony FINALLY made his appearance on October 15th, 8:10 am. He weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs 4 oz, 21 inches long. I still can't believe he weighed that much! At least now I know why my belly stuck out so far!! Labor was pretty quick, woke up at 3:15 am, was the hospital by 4:45 am and he was out shortly there after. Decided to only stay a day in the hospital, the bed wasn't all that comfortable and the shower sucked! Not that I have seen much of my bed since we got home anyway. This guy likes to eat, non-stop!!
