Kaitlyn was obsessed with Katie the entire weekend, dropping what she was doing to play with/harrass the dog!

Someone built a really cool "house" out of drift wood and rocks. Natalie thought it was a great place to play and her imagination ran wild!

Hey, hey, she's a monkey

Kaitlyn was rather proud of herself that she climbed on the chair all by herself. She has mastered getting down on most and will climb up and down things all day. She would be ok going down the stairs, however she thinks her and Natalie need to race, gets a bit ahead of herself and if she wasn't hanging on to me would be at the bottom of the stairs in a bad way! This could be a disaster waiting to happen!! Hello ER!!

Natalie's 4th of July preschool attire. Her skirt and shoes were a lovely shade of brown when she got home.

15 Months

Kaitlyn had her 15 month well-baby check today. She got 2 shots which she did not appreciate at all. She wasn't a fan of Dr. Maney (a little case of stranger anxiety) either but overall it was a good visit. She is developing quite the vocabulary and is not afraid to tell you "no" if she doesn't want something. She also says "please & thank you" appropriately, "cup", "milk", "bowl" & "here you go". She likes to wave (and say) "bye bye da da" when Kevin leaves for work, copies Natalie's every move, is a drama queen and is still crazy about dancing, babies and purses. She loves the water and can hardly keep her out of the pool when it is up. She is a little lover; she loves to snuggle, gives lots of hugs and kisses and the look on her face when her da da gets home is priceless (she has herself wrapped around his little finger). Here are her stats: Height 31 inches (69th percentile) Weight 20 lbs (11th percentile) Head Circumference 47 cm (81st percentile) Still a little peanut!

Baby Quail & other pictures

Kaitlyn insists on eating out of a bowl with a fork. She does pretty well, getting about 75% of it into her mouth. You can see how proud of herself she is!

This morning Kaitlyn spotted one of the many quail families we have in our backyard right now.
This family in particular feeds pretty much every morning and again in the late afternoon. I have counted close to a dozen little babies.

Happy Father's Day!

We spent today BBQ'ing with Kevin's family. The kids had a great time playing outside and in the pool. We couldn't have asked for better weather! I also included pictures of the girls making part of Kevin's father's day present.....finger paint hand prints.

It's gonna be a warm one....

Since it is supposed to be near 100 degrees today we set up the pool & I got the girls a new water toy. Kaitlyn isn't too fond of it when it is going full blast, but both girls seem to enjoy drinking from the little wigglers!
