Holiday Play Date

As the kids get older, enter into preschool and participate in more activities, it has become harder to get them all together. Most of us were able to get together the week before Christmas for a little holiday celebration. The kids made gingerbread men and women ornaments and decorated (and devoured) gingerbread cookies. The highlight was the gift exchange (of course!) and the hours of fun had by all!!

Nutcracker

Grandma Davis and I took Natalie to the Placer Ballet's version of the Nutcracker. She loved it. We went to the tea party before where she met some of the young actors and got her picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Auburn Snow - 12.7.09

It was something that only happens every 20 years or so (or so we are told). We had a heck of a storm come through and drop about a foot and a half of snow. The girls went to school that day but I had Kevin bring them home early to play. It resulted in me only getting about 2 hours of sleep, but well worth it. The girls loved it. Later that afternoon my friend Michelle came by with her daughter and some friends. The kids had a BLAST!!
