5 Months

It is hard to believe that Kaitlyn is already 5 months old. She is all over the place now. She has pretty much mastered rolling over to get where she wants to go and has now added the scoot to her mode of transportation (she made it all the way around our coffee table this evening). She pulls her knees under her and pushes, occasionally getting her arms out of the way. Poor girls has rug burns all over her elbows and knees! I see her crawling in the very near future. Natalie can't wait, she asks all the time when Kaitlyn will be crawling. Little does Natalie know that when Kaitlyn starts crawling her whole world is going to change, again!

Bananas and apple sauce have been added to Kaitlyn's menu. She makes a really funny face with the bananas and digs the apple sauce at night. She gets pretty excited about the rice cereal, growling with every bite!

Natalie is loving her new day care/preschool (she is a total dirt ball when she gets home!). I talked to one of her teachers the other day and she said that Natalie is above and beyond her classmates (today she made the eyes, nose, mouth and belly button on the tracing Nana made on some paper, her Aunt Tina says that she has some 3 year olds in her preschool class that don't even do that correctly yet! Child genius!). Teacher Carolyn said that she is pretty much ready for their preschool program. She probably won't start their program until next year (poor kid will be in preschool for 3 years) , unless she just gets too bored in the toddler room.

Yummy cereal

Kaitlyn started rice cereal on Monday. She gets really excited when we put her in her highchair, she starts yelling and kicking her little legs. She even opens her mouth before we can even get the spoon near her, just like a little bird.

Tasty toes!!

Such a happy baby!
