A Break in the Weather

With all the nasty weather lately the girls have cabin fever from being cooped up for so long in the house. This morning it was nice and sunny out and Natalie was asking to go outside, so we bundled her up and sent her out. Poor Kaitlyn was standing at the slider walking back and forth and talking to Natalie through the glass. So, we bundled her up and sent her out too. Now that she is walking it is much more fun playing out on the deck. I think we are all looking forward to more sunny days!

One year ago....

This was Natalie about a year ago at a friend's birthday party....my has she grown!

10 Months

Kaitlyn is a little mobile munchkin, pretty much walking wherever she wants to go. She only crawls when she wants to get somewhere really fast. She loves eating (she will eat just about anything you put in front of her), bath time and loving on....er....harassing her sister. She can say a few words, "dad or dada", "hi", and "dog". She is working on "bye bye" and another word that she always says when she points to the dogs, sounds a little like "dogbone"....not really sure. She is working on 2 more teeth on the top, however you wouldn't know it, she is just about the happiest baby around.

Ready for Summer

Natalie is finally smiling nice for pictures again....she looks so grown up. It is hard to imagine that she will be 3 years old in a few weeks. When people ask about her birthday she tells them not how old she will be, but that it will be a Scooby-Doo birthday! She picked this outfit out all by herself, completely unaware that it is only about 50 degrees outside. The band-aid is from walking into the corner of the wall in Kaitlyn's room. Kaitlyn has a matching knot on her head from landing on the corner of the dishwasher last night! Bumps on the head all around!!

Kaitlyn is now walking about 40% of the time and crawling the other 50% (the other 10% she is being dragged by her sister as she "teaches" her how to walk)

The Big 3-O

Today was like any other day.....deal with sick kids, fold laundry, play dress-up, play dollhouse....except today I turned 30! We had a great day at the snow....Natalie and Kevin made a few trips down the hill, we made a snowman and Kaitlyn tried to figure out what kept sticking to her hands...and making them cold (she didn't like that too much).
