Sugar 'n spice & everything nice

Saturday's adventure took us to Granite Chief Wilderness Area, just west of N. Lake Tahoe. We drove for about 3 hours to get there....a good 20 miles of that time was spent on a very bumpy dirt road that we needed 4 wheel drive to pass. We didn't get to hike up like we wanted, since it took so long to get there we had to make sure I was going to get home in time for work. Kevin hiked about 3/4 of the way up with the dogs while the girls and I explored the area.
