Natalie and I coated some pine cones from our yard in peanut butter and rolled them in birdseed. We hung them in various trees out front. The birds AND squirrels loved them as much as we did watching them. They only lasted about a week (just about the time I was going to re-seed them) and then they were completely gone. I think the squirrel must have taken them off the tree and hid them for later!
Notice all the peanut butter on Natalie's hands and face?? She had as much fun eating the peanut butter as she did making the treats! However, she didn't much enjoy getting some birdseed mixed in too!
