Nature Hike

Natalie, Kaitlyn and I took a little walk into the meadow next to our house. Since we haven't had rain recently I figured it would be mostly dry and a little muddy....not so. We had to hop a few streams and avert some mud but otherwise made it home fairly clean.

Sadly, it looks like they will be developing the meadow into a ton of houses (a permit was submitted to the county). Almost 1000 houses on 70 acres....that would be like putting 14 houses on our property! If this happens they will most likely be putting a road thru our front yard as well.
